The News About Obama And Clinton Claims Of Misdoings In Ohio And Texas
Yesterday my home state of Ohio and Texas had their primary elections and caucuses. In both states one or the other of the two Democratic candidates, Obama and Clinton, had complaints about the voting system.
In Ohio Barack Obama successfully filed a court complaint asking that some polling places be kept open late because of ballot shortages. In Texas Hilary Clinton may mount a legal challenge to the state's caucus results. Texas has a two-step election, a primary and a caucus. Clinton won the primary, but it looks like Obama has won the caucus. Clinton is claiming that Obama supporters illegally obtained caucus packets in several precincts throughout the state.
It’s all very confusing and a Clinton supporter even introduced a resolution to abolish the caucus system. Maybe the system should be abolished, but to abolish it in the middle of an election would be unfair.
That’s the news about that. I hope the news about you is good news.
