Well, the biggest primary of the season has ended and although there was a decisive winner for the Republicans the Democratic race is still on the line. John McCain was the definite winner of the Republican race and this would usually mean he would get the Republican nomination, but the win wasn’t big enough for him to clinch the nomination.
On the Democratic side the race came down to Clinton and Obama as expected. Clinton won the states that had the most delegates, but Obama won the smaller and mid-sized states giving him 14 states to Clinton’s 8.
With no decisive nominee for either party on Super Tuesday, the biggest primary ever in the US, the candidates look ahead to next week’s primaries in Maryland and Virginia.
